Vintage Timex automatic wristwatch with a classic 1970s diver-style design. Features a silver/gray sunburst dial, applied hour markers, luminous hands and markers, sweep seconds hand, and date window at 3 o’clock.
The watch features a rotating elapsed-time bezel with 10–50 minute markings, domed crystal and chunky cushion-style case. Dial is signed TIMEX – Water Resistant – Automatic.
The automatic movement is running and working, including the date function. The watch shows substantial honest vintage wear, including scratches and marks to the case and crystal, aging to the luminous material, and visible wear/loss to the chrome-plated base-metal case. Stainless steel back.
Currently fitted with a vintage Twist-O-Flex USA expansion bracelet, which suits the period nicely but appears aftermarket.
