Vintage Elgin Swissonic Electronic men’s wristwatch from the 1970s featuring a large retro cushion-style case, silver dial, applied hour markers, date window at 3 o’clock, and distinctive Swissonic electronic movement.
A great example of the transitional period between traditional mechanical watches and the quartz era. The watch has a separate battery access hatch on the caseback, a characteristic feature of these early electronic watches.
