Rare vintage Casio AW-21U World Time, powered by Casio’s Module 387 and manufactured in Japan circa 1989–1990.
One of Casio’s more unusual early World Time designs, the AW-21U combines traditional analog hands with a multifunction digital display and a distinctive world-map graphic spanning the upper half of the dial. The black case, amber/gold LCD and orange-gold detailing give this version a fantastic retro-tech appearance.
Features include World Time, programmable city/time-zone functions, analog and digital time displays, day/date, alarm, stopwatch, countdown timer and DST functionality.
Caseback is correctly marked CASIO 387/AW-21U, Stainless Steel Back, Water Resistant, Japan M.
The watch is currently running and both analog and digital displays are functioning.
